International Environment Ecological Artist (Eco Artist) and Visionary Prasopsuk Leadviriyapiti (Pom). Thailand
The environment, ecology, and recycling must be heavy on our minds. As the earth changes environment and ecological thinking must be clarified and it may be the ecological, environmental or eco artists that will help to educate us about our world, the environment and the ecology that surrounds it.
Many of us talk a good deal about changing the world but few of us have an opportunity to really make any kind of difference. There is a woman in Thailand who actually has a chance to change her part of the world.
The main question in ecology is how to bring about change in the way we control dictate and alter our world. For the most part it is too late for us to change and our futures lie with the children. When Prasopsuk Leadviriyapiti, Pom was a child she witnessed first hand the brutality of the inapt Education system bent on stealing the creativity from all it touched. She is proof there are strong woman in all countries. She also has watched her fellow countryman as they have desecrated and destroyed so much of the beauty of her wonderful country dropping anything and everything where it might land.
In 2004 a devastating Tsunami hit Thailand that would change Pom’s life forever. After the wave she found herself walking the beach and picking up garbage the sea had thrown on the shore. She found the balance of her creative work and ideas lying in the piles of rubbish.
Pom above all understands the importance of teaching children both to find their creative selves but also to respect and love nature. Her programs with children are some of the most unique on earth and are making a difference. Please feel free to browse around to know more about this remarkable artist.
